Week 9 Dreamweaver

In class we went through a more descriptive tutorial on dreamweaver. It helped alot and I know have a more basic understanding in that program. We took the rest of the class to work on our websites. We also had someone come and do a quick tutorial of CAD. It looks very interesting, I took that class in high school but there is so much to learn about that program. Our project is due next week and I'm half way done. So thats a good thing I guess. Class for me was very productive this time and I was able to ask some questions to come to a more understanding of the program.

Week 8- Dream Weaver

DreamWeaver-Setting up a Website
  • name of website
  • identify host to publish
  • domain
  • URL address

We learned to hyperlink in Dreamweaver, crop images and place them where we want on our website. We created a web address for each of our websites. Mine is laceydavis.bravehost.com.

Created anchors-insert-name anchor-totop-enter-it is now an anchor. We then hyperlink the anchor to top of the page or to another page or image you have or another link.

Today we also presented our Flash animations. I thought alot of them were creative and interesting. I need alot more experience in Flash and will practice on my own time on motion guides.

Week 7

Final Exam
Flash
Dreamweaver

Breakdown
  • wk 7- flash
  • wk 8- Dreavweaver
  • wk 9- After Effects/Auto CAD
  • wk 10-In-Design
  • wk 11- Final Exam: website project, blogsite project, in design project, extra credit

Flash animations can be done by key frame, motion tween and shape tween.

Motion makes it faster, there are two elements to make happen to create motion tween. You need to insert motion tween-create path-motion guide-insert-timeline-motion tween-guide motion

Shape tween-select break apart-main menu-modify-break apart-select a number of frames you would like...ex. 50-then select ending point in timeline-insert key frame, select a slide in between the 50 frames and select shape-you can also change the fill color.

Today went pretty well for the most part. I had to go back and redo the practices to make sure I understood them. I just need to practice a little more and understand all the tools.

Week 6-Flash

Today we gave our power point presentations on our before and after logos for our websites. It went well I think. Mine is very basic but easy to see and read. That is what I was going for, nothing too busy.

We also launched the application for Flash. In Flash we learned to create different slides. We first opened our picture of a running man and placed him on our "stage". We clicked on our first slide at the top and placed our man where we wanted him. We then clicked the second slide, right clicked and clicked "Insert Key Frame". We then dragged our running man on the stage again, only in a different position. Then we deleted our previous picture for slide two. We continued to do that for a number of slides. To repeat a number of slides just push Shift and click on how many you want. Copy and Paste the new slides in the next empty ones. To view your progress you can either push Enter or go to Control-Text Movie. That was Practice 1

Practice 2-We started with the same running man picture, I was falling behind on the project and really have no idea what the heck it was about. Others were behind as well so I hope they caught on eventually.

This is the banner we had to complete during class.
