Flash animations can be done by key frame, motion tween and shape tween.
Motion makes it faster, there are two elements to make happen to create motion tween. You need to insert motion tween-create path-motion guide-insert-timeline-motion tween-guide motion
Shape tween-select break apart-main menu-modify-break apart-select a number of frames you would like...ex. 50-then select ending point in timeline-insert key frame, select a slide in between the 50 frames and select shape-you can also change the fill color.
Today went pretty well for the most part. I had to go back and redo the practices to make sure I understood them. I just need to practice a little more and understand all the tools.

Hey, I read your comment on Jessica's blog- experts you say, I don't think so. I was good to go in class with the animations, yet am struggling on creating my own! I'm sure to be in the open lab all day Monday trying to put something together. Good luck with yours though...
lol I agree with nyla i will never be a expert nor do I wanna be. and I agree with her again that it was easy in class but for the life of me I cant create one on my own =( I have what I want but it isnt working and im ready to take my computer and toss it. but if you ever need help my cell is 941 726 1124 =) see you tue and good luck!!!!
